Shades of Morning

My girl friend was walking as part of a turtle team and came upon this sunrise.  I was immediately amazed, excited and inspired to create  a vibrant painting in my style. The challenge is oil on wood.  Canvas absorbs the medium, wood does not. It is forgiving in allowing a lovely depth of color notes.
