Visiting the beach I discovered the contrasts, textures, vibrant colors and chaos of the scene.  Choosing to portray all these variables on a wooden surface stacked one and three quarters high, creates a new idea.  Look closely and the palette thickness is balanced by almost transparent brush strokes.
